A Baby Shower for Dana!

Last weekend I hosted a baby shower for one of my best friends Dana. She and I have been friends since the first day of homeroom freshman year of highschool. This baby has been long awaited, and since she threw me my first baby shower when I was pregnant with Charlie, I was so excited to finally return the favor and shower her! We had a lovely morning and everything came together beautifully. She is having a baby boy... although we don't have a name yet. I think I would have made Jesse proud... I arranged all the flowers myself, and I think they came out well!

Easter Fun!

Easter morning for the Merritt children brought lots of fun! The kids started the morning with pancakes and an egg hunt in the living room. This year Paul informed me that I did a shabby job with Valentines day and that he would be in charge of Easter baskets this year. I was more than happy to allow him the responsibility :) Although it seemed more like Christmas than Easter...

Then after church the kids had another egg hunt. The weather cooperated and it was sunny outside for the kids, although a bit windy. But we got some great pictures! The kids outfits just made me so happy. They looked so adorable... thanks to Grammy for picking them out and treating us to them.

Sadie got in on all the action... you can't pull much past her these days. She wants to be in the mix with the big kids constantly!

Grammie and Papa joined us at church, and then we headed to their house for brunch afterwards.
