Two weeks ago, the kids and I were at the mall looking for a birthday gift for Paul. Avery had been asking about getting "real life" earrings for a while. We had discussed that it would hurt, and that we would have to take care of them, etc... but she was unphased and determined. So I thought... Why not? Off we went to Claire's... she was so brave and determined, and only cried for about 15 seconds until we showed her a mirror and she realized that she had "real life" earrings. She has literally been beaming ever since! My only regret about being so impulsive is that I didn't have a camera on hand to capture the moment!
Avery and Daddy making a silly face... but you can see her pretty little pink CZ's :) And, as you can see, her hair is SLOWLY growing out... Keep in mind the Hair Massacre was back in mid November... this is FOUR months of growout, and we still have a way to go. We'll get there! But I can't wait till she has her little bob back :)
